Base Acreage Allocation by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)
The following base acreage and yields were established before the year 1985. At that time the base acreage and payment yields were frozen and recorded for use ever since. With new farm practices, seed varieties, and irrigation these yields have improved considerably. However the frozen base acreage and payment yields are still used to calculate government payments.

Soil Type
As the enclosed soil map shows approximately 50% of the acres contain Dubbs Silt Loam and Dundee Silt Loam soils for the production of cotton, corn, soybeans, wheat and peanuts.
Approximately 50% of the acres are Alligator Silty Clay and Forrestdale Silt Loam soils. The high natural fertility of these soils provides excellent production capabilities for cotton, corn, soybeans and wheat.
Center Pivot Irrigation System
The farm has a 1,720 foot long center pivot irrigation system installed which belongs to the tenant Bob Henderson. Mr. Henderson has been farming this land since 1991.
