      The farm is currently leased on a year to year basis to a very experienced farmer, known as a tenant. The tenant owns all the necessary farm equipment needed to operate the plantation. It is the responsibility of the tenant to finance the crop expenses and the harvesting costs. The customary rent for leasing quality land such as this is 25% of all products produced on the plantation, payable to the landowner. The landowner and the tenant market their own share of crops.

Beautiful, young growing soybeans will soon grow tall and wide, covering the canopy completely. This not only helps keeps the weeds down, but also keeps the moisture from evaporating.


      If the new owner wishes to have the property managed then Fischer Associates Farm Management, Inc. would be willing to continue managing this property, as it has been since 1991. We have been managing agricultural land for over 30 years, priding ourselves in ensuring the landowner receives the best possible long-term return while maintaining the property to the highest investment-grade standards.

      For these services, Fischer Associates Farm Management, Inc. charges 6% of the landowner’s yearly crop revenue, including other revenues such as hunting leases.
